Brandon is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing and just about anything outside. When not in the office or the woods he enjoys spending time with his loving wife and three dogs, all of whom are die hard Saints fans!!
Kara completed her under grad at Texas A&M with a B.S. in Kinesiology and minors in English and Psychology. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree from Texas A&M in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Law. She is particularly interested in the healthcare system and its reform and hopes to one day be able to influence change in this sector. Kara enjoys spending time with her German Shepard, Koda, reading, doing crafts, and traveling in her spare time
Megan is a native Houstonian who has lived in the Bryan-College Station area for over seven years. An artist and aspiring chef, Megan also enjoys spending her free time outdoors hiking. She plans to pursue a degree in Nutrition and Food Science
Angela wasn’t born in Texas, but she got here as quickly as she could. Raised in Dallas, she attended Southern Methodist University, where she discovered her passion – working with people and not sitting in a classroom. She has done it all, from teaching preschool to being a bank teller. She hosted her own radio program, “Dallas does Gallup”, on Classic Rock 93X when she fell in love with her now-husband and moved to Austin. She hung up her headphones and worked as a Patient Coordinator in the Medical Aesthetics industry for 5 years before making the transition to Brazos Valley Eyecare. She is excited to be part of such a great team!
Carl is a senior Kinesiology major at Texas A&M University from Cypress, with the hopes of one day becoming a chiropractor. He enjoys watching and playing many sports including golf, basketball and football. Carl also enjoys spending time with his German Shepherd and his girlfriend.
Amber is from North Richland Hills and a junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University. Combining her passions for science and serving the community, she plans on entering into a career in optometry after graduation. In her free time, Amber can be found playing tennis, snowboarding, eating sushi, or watching Fightin’ Texas Aggie football.
Cory is currently getting his Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University. He plans on starting medical school in Fall of 2017 in the hopes of eventually becoming an ophthalmologist. In his free time, Cory likes to play golf and ping pong. He also loves to play with his dog, Albus Dumbledog and cat, Jules.
Grace graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences. She is currently taking a gap year before she applies for physician assistant school. During this period of time, she is looking to gain more experience in the healthcare field to better understand the dynamics of the healthcare system. Grace enjoys exploring new places, trying new food, and spending quality time with her friends and family in her spare time.
Maverick is a senior at Texas A&M University and will soon complete his BS in Biomedical Engineering and continue at Texas A&M pursuing a Master’s degree in Business. Maverick enjoys spending time outdoors, and is an avid fan of his hometown San Antonio Spurs. Following his studies, Maverick hopes to merge his interests in entrepreneurship and medicine to bring new solutions to under served patients.
Neyra is a senior undergraduate at Texas A&M graduating with a B.S. in Psychology and Neuroscience. She plans to pursue a doctorate in cognitive neuroscience and one day be a professor. In her spare time she loves watching documentaries, hanging out by the pool and traveling to places she’s never been.
Makala is currently in her senior year at Texas A&M nursing school. She plans on working as a traveling nurse after graduation and is excited to begin her career in the medical field. Makala is looking to gain experience in patient care and learn new skills that will assist her in her future aspirations. She enjoys any adventure she can find including rock-climbing, boxing and spending time with her friends, family and her favorite cat, Charlie.
